Is it racist to say that you think someone else is a racist? The anti free-speech left has been looking for Glenn Beck to say anything that they can use to get a foothold into their movement. If his comment was really offensive in a racist sense, then Al Sharpton would be picketing the Fox Studios.
Colorofchange has two key statements on their boycott Beck page under the heading ‘Stop the race baiting’. The boycott is not about the first statement from colorofchange:
"Fox's Glenn Beck recently said President Obama is "a racist" and has a "deep-seated hatred for white people."
The boycott is about the next statement:
"Beck is on a campaign to convince the American public that President Obama's agenda is about serving the needs of Black communities at White people's expense. It's repulsive, divisive and shouldn't be on the air."
They accuse him of race baiting? Race baiting is calling everyone who disagrees with the opinion of anyone surrounding this administration a racist. This is the most racist, divisive administration and group of congressmen and supporters I have ever seen. The racists are the people on the left who are trying as hard as they can to make every issue about race so their true agenda can remain hidden. If they discussed the actual issues (hmmm…’discussed’ isn’t really the right word…no discussion…just ‘agree with me or you are a racist and shut up’…no logical discussion…beyond that point they demand complete censorship) they would have no method of gaining support for their causes. If Senator Clinton or Senator Edwards was in office right now and trying to push the same agenda, people would be disagreeing with the same fervor.
Glenn is repulsive and divisive? Colorofchange should look inward for repulsion and divisiveness. Even the name of their organization, colorofchange, has racist overtones . If the reason for their existence had anything to do with reducing racism, their name wouldn’t throw ‘color’ in your face. I remember pulling up the colorofchange web site before the Democratic primary last year, and I was sickened by the amount of racism the organization displayed. I determined then that colorofchange was a vile racist, even going as far as terrorist organization.
I wonder what threats they used towards the corporations to get them to cease advertising on Glenn Beck’s program? Many of the members of colorofchange probably don’t even know the true agenda behind the boycott. Most liberals who are endorsing the boycott aren't doing so in regards to his perceived racist statement. They are going along because they hate him and what he stands for. They hate truth, the truth that is exposing them and their distorted sense of Constitutional hatred. It is a sad day in our country when clueless people within such an organization are contacting advertisers and can sway corporate opinions.
And what is wrong with saying President Obama is a racist? He himself states that he surrounds himself with people of similar beliefs. If that is true, due to the people he is surrounding himself with (Van Jones, Reverend Wright, etc.), then President Obama is either a racist or a liar. Pick one.
To Glenn Beck advertisers: Succumbing to the boycott effort is like negotiating with terrorist. When they know you will give in to them they will always demand more.

You have opened the door to a power grab. This is why America can never negotiate with terrorist. Why did you?
