A bill was passed that was against the will of the people. Even the democrats knew their own bill stunk, as it took bribes and threats to their own people to get it to pass. Toward the end of the vote, as it was nearing passage, the last few democrats breathed a sigh of relief that they didn't have to vote for it and face the people back home in their districts and they jumped to the 'Nay' column. And liberals are proud of this? They claim 'victory' like it was just a game. It is America, not a game. Or it was America.
The issue isn't, as Pelosi and friends tout...'oh look...it takes care of pre-existing conditions...it does this...it does that...how can you party of no people campaign against such wonderful goodies'. It isn't 'what it does or gives you'. The issue that needs to be debated is HOW it give it to you and WHAT ELSE it does. I can put the front license plate on my car by using a screwdriver, or I can put it on by driving the car into a wall and mashing it into the bumper. Both options 'get it done'. That's all they care about? Getting it done, no matter how disastrous to our society and freedoms.
Those are the issues that need to be debated. But it is information that anyone who listens to MSNBC will not have a clue about, as they just follow what they are told and don't read the bills themselves.

Oh, but Republicans just LOVE throwing around CBO estimates, they say. Do they love throwing estimates that are rushed to the floor, created using incomplete information from a dysfunctional bill? Very solid figures to use to bribe a takeover of our health care system. What can be gathered by reading the CBO memo that was sent to Pelosi (not from whatever Maddow will tell her lemmings):

And this intriguing statement:

The bill makes so many external references that it can be difficult to track down any semblance of reality. In some cases, the democrats have done a masterful job of disguising the real intent of parts of this legislation. I haven't been able to really find much about planning of the US Postal Service in this web of a deceitful Obamacare bill, but did they put the planned reduction in services by the post office in there and call it part of the 'health care savings'...????? Is that what they did???
Then they threw in a 'student loan program' to artificially boost the 'savings' figure of the health plan.
The CBO generated very broad 'what if' preliminary numbers, based on very incomplete data supplied by the democrats, and that is what they used for the last push of twisting their own people from No to Yes? Telling them 'look...just tell the people in your districts it saves money'. What a sham. Wow. The democrats sold their product with a bad infomercial.
I wonder if someone has video of the Constitution burning ceremony they must have had after the vote?
